yes! feels like Oregon home. 
apparently they don’t understand the grid system here. meaning they don’t have one. streets don’t go all the way through, they like to curve. so you can’t just take 2 rights if you know that you need to get to a street that is parallel to the street that you are driving on. so that is annoying to say the least. I am thinking of investing in one of those tomtom things so that I can stop wasting gas and time to get to something one block over.
tomorrow i sign as 12 month lease to an apartment i have not seen. hopefully this goes well. oh! i should get you my address soon. and shopping for furniture. oh man! so many expenses. ;/ how i long for the ease of living at W.
ok, so i should get back to looking for directions to the Target…more on Mich. in a bit.

blue: My identity was a struggle. My other half has an orange notebook AND orange flip flops, but my flip flops are bright green. I chose blue for its history, though - fall 2006 traveled between salem and sweden wrapped in blue cardboard from powell's. Currently Teaching for America in an attempt to part the clouds of adolescent angst long enough to impart my infinite algebra-related wisdom.

did you rent a car? still looking for one to buy? what’s a “tomtom” thing?
I, living at home, am thinking longingly of my h.d. apt. I want to paint it, and buy new bedding. with coordinated curtains and towels. and wall decorations. i seriously need to get a job.

so we decided to lease a car because it seemed more reasonable because i have no idea where i will be when i graduate…it makes more sense.
“tomtom” i think that is what it is called, is that navigational system. They have really stupid commercials…which is why i mentioned them, but basically some sort of portable navigational system so that i can stop getting lost.
so what color have you decided to paint it?
update on my apt coming soon. as well as pictures up shortly.
